Where the giants live

Jotunheimen ("Home of the Giants") National Park contains the highest mountains in Norway and is also considered the roughest region in the country. On the one hand, this means that the trail sometimes leads over rough, slippery scree for a whole day, which does not necessarily increase the choice of suitable sites for the tent, but on the other hand it also means breathtakingly beautiful - often deserted - landscapes with wide valleys, blue glaciers and turquoise lakes.
